Peter T. Roach

Peter T. Roach PETER T. ROACH obtained a B.A. in 1973 from the State University of New York at Binghamton and attended St. John's University School of Law where he received the American Jurisprudence Award in Commercial Transactions. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1979. Mr. Roach is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern, Western Northern and Southern, Districts of New York and the District of Columbia. He has been an Adjunct Professor of Law at St. John's University School of Law since 1988 where he teaches "Suretyship and Mortgages" and "Real Estate Drafting." Mr. Roach is also a member of the St. John's University School of Law Alumni Association's Board of Directors, a past Treasurer 1988-2000, Vice President 2000-2002, and President 2002-2004. He is the co-author of "How to Handle Your First Foreclosure" published by The Practicing Law Institute and "Title Examination in New York" (published by Lorman Education Services). He practices in the areas of Mortgage Foreclosure, Mortgage Closings, Debt Collection, Real Estate Transactions, Bankruptcy and Litigation and is a member of the Nassau County and New York State Bar Associations.

Michael C. Manniello

Michael C. Manniello, earned a Bachelor of Science in 1985 from New York University, School of Business and Public Administration and a Juris Doctor in 1987 from Hofstra University, School of Law.

Mr. Manniello was admitted to the New York and Connecticut State Bars in June 1988. He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern, Western, Northern, and Southern Districts of New York and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

Throughout his career, Mr. Manniello has concentrated his practice on enforcement of lenders and creditors' rights including lien liquidation.

In addition to representing creditors at the trial level, Mr. Manniello has made numerous appearances before the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, the United States District Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit Court. He has obtained favorable decisions on complex issues including lien enforcement, service of process and usury which both the bench and bar continue to cite.

Mr. Manniello regularly writes and lectures on lending and collection related issues. He has lectured in the New York State Bar Association's Continuing Legal Education Program and is frequently consulted by court personnel.

Christina Marks

Christina Marks, J.D., Director of the Debt Collection Group of Peter T. Roach & Associates, P.C., graduated magna cum laude from the State University of New York at New Paltz in 2000 and then earned a Juris Doctor from St John's University School of Law in 2005, graduating cum laude. After graduating, Christina started a family and she is now pursuing admission to the state bar.

Christina helped in establishing the collection group five years ago and now oversees all aspects of day to day activities, working on cases as well as client relations. Christina's attention to detail, thoroughness, creativity and personal attention to each and every file that the group handles, large or small, maximizes the likelihood of recovery for our clients. With her personally selected staff of legal and collection professionals, Christina tracks and monitors all cases, ensuring that each client is given the best possible opportunity for maximum recovery of the debt placed with us.
